Martial Arts

Our founder’s background began in Martial Arts, and many of the skills she carries into 360 today integrity, perseverance, discipline and confidence were shaped in those early years. These values now form the core of 360 Combat.

Our Martial Arts sessions are built around a blend of Kempo Karate, Taekwondo forms, practical self-defence, fitness, and above all, fun.

Within wraparound, belt progression and gradings are included in the cost, and students test for tips and/or belts at the end of each term. This gives children structured goals, a sense of achievement and a moment to celebrate their hard work.

Did you know?

  • Research also shows that structured martial arts training can support children with ADHD (and other neurodiversity). The combination of repetition, movement patterns, clear routines and focus-based drills can help strengthen neural pathways linked to self-control, attention and emotional regulation.
  • Children practising martial arts showed better executive functioning and higher school marks than those involved in team sports or sedentary children.”

Our after-school enrichment sessions teach practical self-defence skills and pad work, helping children build strength, confidence and real-life awareness. During holiday camps, we offer the same skills as taster sessions, giving young people the chance to try an activity they may never have been exposed to before.

Delivered in a child-friendly, supportive and motivating style, our syllabus teaches children to focus, to defend themselves mentally and physically, and most importantly to have fun while building whole-health confidence.

Cookery

At 360 Vision, whole-health sits at the heart of everything we do. We deliver sessions that build knowledge and skills in fitness, nutrition and wellbeing so that every child we work with can develop healthy habits for life. Early food experiences shape long-term choices, and with national data showing that 1 in 5 children leave primary school living with obesity, it has never been more important to make healthy eating accessible, enjoyable and confidence-building rather than restrictive or overwhelming.

Across all of our settings, our recipes are designed to be nutritionally balanced while still being fun, tasty and child-approved. We love teaching children how to prepare these dishes so they can take both the skills and the ideas home to their families.

Did you know?

  • Research shows that involving children in cooking and food preparation from a young age can lead to more positive attitudes towards food, better self-regulation around eating and a greater willingness to try fruits and vegetables over time.
  • Children who have positive, pressure-free experiences with food in their early years are more likely to build a healthy relationship with eating as they grow. Enjoyable exposure to a range of foods can increase acceptance and reduce anxiety around trying new things.

Our kitchen and serving staff hold Level 2 Food Hygiene qualifications and follow our nutrition-led recipes and menus. During holiday camps, children have hands-on opportunities to prepare main meals, snacks and themed treats alongside our team, building real confidence in the kitchen and a sense of pride in what they create.

Within wraparound, we encourage everyday food engagement through our weekly menu. Children help shape parts of their meals — from choosing toppings at pasta stations to building crumbles, making pita pizzas and creating fruit salad kebabs. These moments encourage choice, creativity and a natural curiosity about food.

We know nutrition is a vital part of whole-child health. By making our food sessions joyful, practical and rooted in real skills, we help children become confident and informed eaters, giving them tools to support their wellbeing long after they leave our programmes.

Wellbeing

Our Wellness sessions support children and young people to build confidence, self-awareness and a positive sense of future. Delivered across our enrichment programme and holiday camps, these sessions focus on self-discovery, self-esteem and goal setting in a safe, supportive environment where every child feels seen and valued.

Rooted in our 360 whole-health approach the triad of fitness, nutrition and wellness our delivery helps children understand how their bodies, minds and choices are connected. Through discussion, creative activities, movement, journalling and group work, children explore who they are, what they enjoy and what they might want for their future. Sessions are practical, age-appropriate and designed to build resilience, emotional literacy and confidence over time.

We create spaces where young people can talk openly, celebrate strengths and learn tools to manage emotions, friendships and everyday challenges. Whether through confidence-building games, reflection activities or future-focused planning, our aim is always to leave children feeling empowered and capable.

Did you know?

  • Building self-esteem in childhood is strongly linked to improved mental health, better relationships and stronger academic outcomes later in life. Children who feel confident and valued are more likely to engage positively with school and activities.
  • Early wellbeing education helps children develop emotional regulation and coping skills that support them into adolescence and adulthood. Learning to understand feelings, set goals and care for their wellbeing from a young age can have long-term positive impacts.

By embedding wellbeing alongside physical activity and nutrition, we help children see that health is not just about the body — it is about how they feel, think and connect with the world around them. Our sessions aim to nurture confident, resilient young people who feel positive about themselves and hopeful about their future.

Dance

Moving to music is one of the most powerful ways to lift mood and support wellbeing. Research from across the world shows that music and movement together can significantly improve emotional health, build confidence and reduce stress in children and young people.

At 360, we are lucky to have polished, passionate professional dancers who deliver engaging, high-quality sessions for our students. From Matilda to Moana and everything in between, our teachers follow recognised ISDT grading systems and carefully plan lessons that give children space to feel confident, learn new moves and master routines — all while enjoying themselves.

Did you know?

  • Positive experiences with music and movement from a young age can help children build confidence in their bodies and express emotions safely. Dance offers a creative outlet that supports self-esteem and encourages children to feel comfortable being themselves.
  • Regular dance and movement sessions can support emotional regulation, teamwork and resilience. Children who move to music often show improved mood, stronger social connections and greater confidence in group settings.

During wraparound, we teach from our modern dance syllabus, running classes from primary level through to Grade Six. When we have a group of students ready to progress, we can invite an official ISDT invigilator to assess them formally, giving children a clear goal and a real sense of achievement.

In after-school enrichment, we run half-termly or termly blocks where children learn a fun, fully choreographed routine to child-safe popular music. This helps them work towards something tangible and feel proud of what they have achieved by the end of the block.

During camps, we take a workshop-based approach, so even children attending for a shorter time can still learn a full routine if they join our dance days.

360 Dance always brings smiles, laughter and sparkle.
